Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about this service. Can't find your answer? Call us on +61 450 999 222.
How long does a commercial fitout take?
A typical commercial fitout of 200 to 500 square metres takes six to ten weeks from contract signing to handover, depending on complexity. You will get a detailed programme at proposal stage so you can plan your opening or move-in date.
Do you handle the DA, CDC or building approval?
No. Approvals such as a DA, CDC or building approval are handled by your appointed consultants and certifiers. Gladison coordinates with them during the build, but does not lodge or manage approvals or councils.
Can you work in an occupied building or trading centre?
Yes. We are experienced in staging works, controlling noise and dust, and scheduling disruptive trades outside business or trading hours. We agree a disruption management plan with you before we start.
Who do you work with during the fitout?
Gladison manages the build by working with your appointed experts, including building managers, engineers, architects, designers, lighting designers and the tenancy owner, to manage trades, sequencing and sign-offs through to the intended outcome.
What is included in a fixed-price proposal?
Our fixed-price proposals cover all labour, materials, trade coordination, project management and compliance documentation. Any exclusions are itemised clearly so you know exactly what is in scope.
